Tango Lithium Project
Canada
The Project consists of 41 contiguous claims covering 8.64 km of ground with known pegmatite occurrences within the highly prospective Georgia Lake pegmatite field. The Project is located ~2.3 km east of Imagine Lithium’s Jackpot project and ~10 km south east of Rock Tech’s Georgia Lake Lithium Project along the southern shore of Georgia Lake, approximately 31 km south west of the Company’s Gorge Project, 143 km northeast of Thunder Bay, 33 km south of Beardmore, and 20 km south east of Macdiarmid. The property is accessible by following Highway #11 north of Nipigon, turning east onto the Gorge Creek Road and then following well-graded gravel logging roads to the property. With less than 10 km to the High Voltage power lines connected to hydropower provide an opportunity to produce ‘greenlithium’.
Exploration Results
- The Project is largely underexplored with only 5 drill holes from 1955 to 1957 and a trench sample, referred to as a bulk sample from Island showing in the historic documents, from the same time period weighing 213.2 kg that returned 1.4% Li2O.
- Three drill holes completed on the Island pegmatite in 1957 to a depth of 22.86 m (75ft), each confirming the presence of albite-spodumene.
- A heliborne geomagnetic survey completed overa total of 192 line kilometres during three production flights. The survey provides valuable data that will greatly assist in defining target geology and planning further exploration activities in the project area.
